Short Description of Your Novel
BARRIERS OF THE NEW WORLD: The world was divided into 3 types of countries—rich, advanced, and poor—with names changed into numbers accordingly. Stella, a young, intelligent, and hard working girl, lived in Country 189 that was owned by Global REN. She was an assistant to the CEO—handsome, confident, and highly intelligent man. They fell in love, but the world war will forever change her life, leaving deep scars. 21 ERASED: The code is your identity, your bank account, your credit card, the bus fare…your existence. When they take it away, you disappear like you never lived at all. All it takes is a moment and you’re no longer a human being…you’re nothing. Everything you thought you owned is shattering into pieces in front of your eyes, you’re disappearing without leaving a single trace of your existence. You were that insignificant. The system had you that much, nothing was yours but the illusion. They own your life. When you got in their way, they spat you out like a chewing gum that lost its flavor. You no longer exist. You have been erased… EVOLVE: The year 2025 will be remembered as the year when humanity was plugged out from the electricity grid. While the population was suffering frequent epidemics and destruction, the rulers of the world were busy building. While the population believed the Moon was an inhabitable rock, the rulers were building cities over there and silently relocating, destining the humanity to a role of retarded obedients. The population was severely dumbed down with vibrations, generations accustomed to the internet, television, phones, technology, reduced to mere vegetative existence. But few people paid attention to their thoughts; few people made their very first step to evolve. They ended up on the Moon as slave-prisoners. Little did they know it would be their date with destiny. With the help of the native inhabitants of the Moon, the Mellny, it will be their chance to fully evolve, to have a mind so powerful that it becomes the unbeatable obstacle for the regime, to be invisible, to see what others think and feel, to have no fear, to be the hope... But what can three people do? NETTE: In a world where gender was distinguished by the eye color, blue for female and brown for male, she had the misfortune of being born as brown eyed girl. Being ugly and a freak to everyone was the least of her troubles. Immortal and destined to be a queen, her mere existence was a threat to the king. After everyone she loved was brutally murdered, she had no choice but to pursue the path she was destined. In a world that made it clear there was no place in it for her, immortal Nette will have to make room even if it means killing them all.
Please give a short Author's Bio (please limit to 250 words)
As an urban child, my getaway from the noise and fast paced city was escaping into the world of books. I lived the lives of characters and subsequently played with alternative scenarios in my own imagination. I created my own plots, added my own role, and changed the world. When I grew up, I realized just how little a person can change in the society, but the habit of alternative scenarios remained. The most talented writer in the world is life itself and my books are alternative scenarios of what I read in it. Often, you will recognize the seeds of my imaginary, future, dystopian, societies in our present, and hopefully it will make you look at things differently. The books I write deal with intelligent individuals, well educated, absolutely aware of the world around them, well read, wise; and their clash with societies whose targets are usually those individuals. Why intelligent and wise individuals are dangerous to any regime, is best described in this quote by Osho: “No Society Wants You to Become Wise” No society wants you to become wise: it is against the investment of all societies. If people are wise they cannot be exploited. If they are intelligent they cannot be subjugated, they cannot be forced into a mechanical life, to live like robots. They will assert themselves -- they will assert their individuality. They will have the fragrance of rebellion around them; they will want to live in freedom. Freedom comes with wisdom, intrinsically -- they are inseparable -- and no society wants people to be free. The communist society, the fascist society, the capitalist society, the Hindu, the Mohammedan, the Christian -- no society likes people to use their own intelligence because the moment they start using their intelligence they become dangerous, dangerous to the establishment, dangerous to the people who are in power, dangerous to the "haves"; dangerous to all kinds of oppression, exploitation, suppression; dangerous to the churches, dangerous to the states, dangerous to the nations.
