Short Description of Your Novel
Mandy Ruhe receives a sacred amulet and is suddenly swept back in time to Texas 1845, into the body of Carmena Luebber where romance and gunrunning go hand in hand. Until Mandy can return to her own time, she must assume Carmena’s role as owner of the Holiday Ranch. Mandy is caught up in the lives of the people who work for Carmena—their struggles, hopes, and dreams—and ends up falling for two men in love with the woman she portrays. An old seer warns Mandy not to follow her heart, for she is trapped in the past to complete an unknown task and must return to the present—before she messes up the future for everyone.
