Freedom's Light brings us back to the beginings, when the spread of darkness and terror held us in its grip of fear. The unthinkable loss of 9/11 and the how it struck home for all of us. How it rallied the growing pride and patriotism of the American People. Now, it was the enemies turn to feel the fear.
"This story is about America’s state of red alert following the horrific events of 9/11. The events themselves are well-described and the reader is caught up in the emotions of a people baying for revenge. The author writes in his preface that Americans had ignored all the warning signs leading up to 9/11;”Not until the year 2001 and the shocking reality that no one is truly safe from the darkness of this evil did America and the world begin to wake up…They learned to seek out the evil ones and destroy them.” Thus the plot of this story concerns the bravery of those who fight for their country by infiltrating foreign lands to seek out potential threats against America. It is a fast-paced story and convincingly written. Its authenticity had me wondering if this particular mission did actually exist."

"Books like Freedom's Light inspire me to think about life, I really appreciate it in books. I liked the idea, how interesting the author presented it to the reader. There is always bad and good in the world, black and white, dark and light - this is an integral part of our life. It often happens that there is a struggle between good and evil. This problem will be relevant always, at all the times. During the reading, I fell in love with the heroes of the book and it was interesting for me to observe their actions and thoughts. I also want to say a few words about the title of the book "Freedom's light", as it seems to me that the author meant liberation from darkness, that is, the light is freedom, it is kindness and joy. I advise everyone to read this wonderful story, because it can remain in your memory as well as in mine."

"Robert Saniscalchi gives us a great reading in Freedom’s Light. It’s not an easy story to go through as it deals with raw human emotions that are triggered by tragic events. This book specifically links the world before and after 9/11 and how that changed our perception of war and good and evil. The story goes through with the war in Afghanistan and Iraq and how that affects thousands (millions?) of lives not only in that zone of the world. It’s not only a war book. It’s about feelings and perceptions, family, friendship, and love. How one event can turn our world upside down in just one minute. It’s touching and heart-breaking and Saniscalchi offers the readers a brilliant piece of writing and storytelling. Sometimes, a book gives us not what we want but what we need. And that’s when the magic happens. Freedom’s Light is that good and you won’t regret it. I’ll surely check the other books by this author."
